Worked on metal plate. Mezzotinto, Drypoint, Eching, Aquatint, Engraving
I like to work on traditional copperplates for its feeling of weightless and smoothness when working with a drypoint or a burin. I combine my light lines by printing on paper and silk, putting them on top of each other and that way, making a special 3-dimensional feeling to the work. Sometimes I finish the silk part with a touch of embroidery with human hair or for example golden thread. I might also use pearls, gemstones or other small objects in my art.
